Hi, my name is...

My name is Kelsey and I currently work as a Forensic Scientist. Cool job, right? While it sounds like a cool job, I am honestly not happy doing it. My true passion is health and wellness, mainly using food, as well as plant extracts, to help support the body…naturally. My story is a pretty long one, but in a nutshell - too many visits to the doctor and too many prescriptions - leaving me unhappy and very unhealthy. I began my journey towards health and wellness five years ago - and have not turned back since.

I am studying to be a Certified Aromatherapist through The School for Aromatic Studies. Though I have a deep love for essential oils, I really enjoy learning and connecting with those around me. I love helping people and sharing what I love with those I love. I realize that I say love WAY too much…but trust me when I say I mean it! I believe my purpose in life is to love people - no matter who they are or what they believe - even the ones who are hard to love - because often those people need it the most. I am still on my journey (for sure!) but I’m definitely enjoying the ride!

I studied Forensic Science at the University of New Haven and after graduating, began working as a Forensic Scientist. Something that I thought was the right thing to do somehow wound up being so wrong for me. After working there some time I began to feel like I was being called to help people, not in the “crime solving" kind of way (which is great, don’t get me wrong!), but more like the “let’s get together over some coffee and chat...let’s walk through this life together” kind of way.

I have come to realize that though we may be in different walks of life (some more similar than others), there is something we can all learn from each other. Whether it’s something as simple as sharing a favorite healthy recipe or natural home remedy, or as complex as a good word spoken to an anxious heart, or encouragement from someone who has been through or is going through what you are currently experiencing, there is SO much to be gained through friendships here on this earth.

So why essential oils? Simply stated, essential oils are something that I have seen make a difference in both mine and my family’s lives and I want to share that with the world. Plus, it provides me with the opportunity to meet people I otherwise may have never met and create meaningful, lasting relationships with them. I am just a girl who lives in the city of brotherly love that has a desire to share her love for natural solutions with anyone who wants to learn.

To summarize…

My passion: natural solutions. My calling: to help people. My purpose: to love.
